Our work
The Lotus Bloom Project offers comprehensive workshops and presentations tailored to youth and youth communities to create a greater awareness for and understanding of human trafficking. Participants learn how to define and recognize human trafficking, report suspected cases, prevent exploitation, and support survivors. Through real-world case studies, attendees will understand the societal factors that contribute to exploitation and the role individuals and communities can play in combating this hidden issue.
In coordination with Washington state Senate Bill 5355 - 2023-24, The Lotus Bloom Project is in discussion with PTSA from Seattle Public Schools, Lake Washington School District, Bellevue School District, Issaquah School District, Northshore School District, and Edmonds School District to bring instruction on trafficking prevention and identification to students and their families.
